After a morning pick-up from your hotel in Fez, your journey begins toward the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering scenic views of rolling hills and lush valleys.
Our first stop is Imouzzer, a small town famous for its Apple Festival held every September. Here, you can explore the local Berber market, interact with artisans, and experience authentic village life.
Next, we continue to Ifrane, Morocco’s “Switzerland,” traveling through oak forests and stopping to admire the picturesque Dayet Aoua Lake. A visit to Ifrane offers the perfect mix of natural beauty, European-inspired architecture, and wildlife. Along the way, you’ll catch a glimpse of the prestigious Al Akhawayn University.
Enjoy a gentle hike through Ifrane National Park, connecting with the refreshing atmosphere of the Middle Atlas Mountains and admiring its peaceful landscapes.
We then venture deeper into the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary Apes. Azrou is also a traditional Berber town where you can immerse yourself in the local culture by exploring the markets, tasting local cuisine, and discovering handmade crafts.
After a day filled with adventure, nature, and cultural discoveries, we drive back to Fez, arriving in the early evening with memories of a stunning journey through Morocco’s Middle Atlas.
