Following an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Fes, we drive through scenic landscapes toward Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
Upon arrival, we begin with Hassan Tower, a partially completed minaret that was intended to be one of the largest mosques in the world. Nearby, visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the resting place of the king and his sons, featuring stunning Moroccan architecture and intricate craftsmanship.
Next, explore Chella, an ancient Roman and medieval site located on the outskirts of Rabat. Here, you’ll discover the ruins of Roman temples and remnants of an Islamic necropolis, offering a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s layered history.
From there, our driver will take you to Kasbah of the Udayas, a peaceful fortress overlooking the river, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and wander through its charming streets and gardens.
Finally, we visit Rabat’s Old City (Medina), a vibrant area full of narrow streets, traditional souks, and bustling markets where artisans sell local crafts. This is the perfect place to soak up the city’s culture and pick up souvenirs.
After a day of history, culture, and exploration, we return to Fes in the late evening, concluding a memorable day trip to Morocco’s capital.
